Any bets on this one hitting K? I’d love to cancel that $46 steelbook preorder from Amazon that just got delayed a week!

Amazon = MGM so the short answer is Yes. The longer answer involves whether something was built as a streaming exclusive, whether Amazon sees value in making it for sale, etc. So, with some movies like Mercy the title goes through a standard digital store release and K gets it. For shows like Reacher, Amazon follows the old HBO model where they release seasons for digital sale to promote a new season about to air (Reacher gets HD digital sale releases but is 4K on Prime). Then we've got titles like Masters of the Universe which I'd compare to Sheep Detectives. It has a theatrical run, then it goes direct to Prime for a period, then after a few month it shows up on digital sale (I hope).

If Masters of the Universe follows the same timeline as Sheep Detectives, we should see it next week. :)

My copy came today, I ordered the non steel book version which only came with the 4k uhd disc, no blu ray and no digital copy. I was a little hesitant on ordering it, but my wife saw the trailer in the theaters and really wanted to see it. I try and post my thoughts in the next few days. I would have preferred to to buy it from Kscape but I wasn’t sure it would be available.
