M700 error 98 and need full reset

I recently started getting disc jammed errors on my vault for some reason. When I opened up the unit, despite not having any discs out of place, it continued to make the error kept asking me to reboot the system.

In an attempt to restore the system and start over, I made the mistake of taking all of the discs out of the vault and now it is giving me an error 98 when I use the eject all discs function via the server UI. When it attempts to eject discs that are not there, continues to error out.

Any recommendations on how to wipe the disc vault so I can re-insert all my discs?

Thanks so much!

Mike

Try this to force the vault re-inventory:

More discussion of the 98 error here:

It would be nice if there was a clear-inventory function, for this situation, even if it meant checking a box, typing agree, or swearing to the gods of indemnity should the vault later try to insert a disc into a slot that isn't really empty. Or at least a sticker on the air sheath warning of the pain that will ensue should you manually remove discs.

The “I swear I own this disc” didn’t work out well for K on DVD’s. So don’t hold your breath…..

Bit, I assume you already knew this and just doing a bit of day dreaming.

This would be an "I swear there are no discs in this vault", so the studios should be cool with it. However, as someone who has been through an error-on-every-slot-into-inventory-cycle-until-on-the-same-page I know it still counts as day-dreaming..
