Thank you.I have them and love them.
Thank you.
Do you have the 5160's as well?
I'm wondering if the 5160's would be overkill for surround speakers.
Thank you.

I've been looking at Focal's as well.I'm a big Focal fan.
My theater room is 25W x 32L x12H but I'm still thinking the 5160's would be too much speaker for the surrounds.I was considering them earlier before I switched gears to another brand.
What I was told is 5160 can be a bit overwhelming unless you have a huge space. So it would be preferable to use 3160 for lcr. You can use them for possibly bed channels with ci200rr for atoms or use 200rr for both bed surrounds and atmos.
At least that was the plan I had and bought the set. When I decided to switch to a different brand, I sold the 3160s and now have listed 6x CI200RR for sale. In fact, All speakers are still brand new in box unopened.

What do you think would be a good set of Focal's for surround L&R?
In walls are what I'm looking at now.In wall or in room? I just put in a full suite of the 1000 series and am really liking the results.
Depends on budget. If in room, you're probably doing a bookshelf in those positions? There's a bookshelf in every line from the Chora all the way up, but at very different price points.
For Focal, I'd try to match the speakers in the same line and just go up the levels until you hit your spending breaking point.

Also some in ceilings for Atmos...
I settled on Alcons for the LCR and width channels and JBL series for remaining bed channels and Atmos. My theater room is 25W x 32L x12H but I'm still thinking the 5160's would be too much speaker for the surrounds.
Did you go with the JBL's you referred to before?
