Looking to change Speakers

Does anyone have any experience / opinions about these KEF Speakers?
I have them and love them.

Thank you.
Do you have the 5160's as well?
I'm wondering if the 5160's would be overkill for surround speakers.

I was considering them earlier before I switched gears to another brand.

What I was told is 5160 can be a bit overwhelming unless you have a huge space. So it would be preferable to use 3160 for lcr. You can use them for possibly bed channels with ci200rr for atoms or use 200rr for both bed surrounds and atmos.

At least that was the plan I had and bought the set. When I decided to switch to a different brand, I sold the 3160s and now have listed 6x CI200RR for sale. In fact, All speakers are still brand new in box unopened.

My theater room is 25W x 32L x12H but I'm still thinking the 5160's would be too much speaker for the surrounds.
Did you go with the JBL's you referred to before?

I've been looking at Focal's as well.
What do you think would be a good set of Focal's for surround L&R?

In wall or in room? I just put in a full suite of the 1000 series and am really liking the results.

Depends on budget. If in room, you're probably doing a bookshelf in those positions? There's a bookshelf in every line from the Chora all the way up, but at very different price points.

For Focal, I'd try to match the speakers in the same line and just go up the levels until you hit your spending breaking point.

In walls are what I'm looking at now.
Also some in ceilings for Atmos...

Oh yeah, then. I put my money in a full 1000 series setup. It's working great.

1000 series if you're spending more. 300 series if you're spending less. They get my biased stamp of approval, LOL.

Check out my channel for some recent videos covering them. I'll have all my install vlogs putting them in coming up over the next few weeks too.
