Last movie watched

Doubling back on Backrooms. The "Everything Must Go" short film that started as a disc exclusive is now available streaming on HBO as well as added as an Extra to all digital stores (except K). It's unfortunate that while K has a 4K Cinematic version of this film it's still the least complete version available in the market. On the plus side, due to the nature of the short there's no reason to need disc quality and streaming works just fine.

Watched Copycat tonight (on sale for $4.99). A fun 90's serial killer thriller with a lot of De Palma influences. Released the same year that Se7en changed the genre forever.

Watched the new Resident Evil. This contains a fantastic atmos mix. One of the best of the year (if not the best). A kind of mix wherein you can invite friends over (and doubters of the format) to enjoy an immersive experience. I enjoyed the movie as well. Funny and at the same time showcased some over the top gore. Fun ride.

Resident Evil floored me (saw it in the theater). Best movie I've seen in a while. Totally a fun ride.

Watched this for the first time last night. Could not agree more!

Picked up The Great Santini on sale. SD but it looked ok with Lumagen upscaling. Two academy award nominated performances. I really liked the book and enjoyed the film.
