NEWS: KEAOS v 3.7 released

Just FYI,

K is about to release an update to 3.7 that will allow them to respond faster to these recent "DVD cannot be imported" and other import issues. The goal is to reduce the amount of time to both fix the issue and get the fix to owners.

This is the last version (we received it on March 12th and it is still updating some systems), the new update I'm referring to has not yet been released, but will be soon.:)

I realise the answer to this is probably no, but can I force my box to update ? It took ages to get 3.7.0-6524 - (and I needed the 5.1 format over HDMI update so I was watching), and i'm still on 3.7.0 - havent seen 3.7.1 yet.

Or, perhaps Kaleidescape's distriution algorithm will realise it was rather mean to me for 3.7.0 and 3.7.1 and send me the newest version immediately it comes out ... here's hoping !!

(ps, I'm a new user, what a Superb product - even my "my husband spends too much on technology" wife has positive words for the product.

You are correct, you cannot "force" the update. It will get there when it gets there. Be sure you are properly connected online and your system is "on" in order to receive the update when it shows up. It's kinda like UPS/FedEX, if you're not home, you go to the end-of the-line.:D
