Jurassic Park Collection DTS 5.1??

I love my Strato V but I have to admit since getting into K...one of the biggest surprises and disappointments has been that we are not always getting the best audio and/or video quality of some of my favorite titles. :( Probably should have researched that more before joining.
I'm of two minds on this audio topic. Yes, I would love the have the lossless Dolby Atmos track for each movie where such a track is available. But if for some reason K doesn't have the lossless Atmos I would rather have the DTS lossless track and use the DTS Neural X on my processor vs a lossy Atmos track.

I am closer to this camp. They should be offering the best assets available but I don’t feel I’m missing out using Neural X or AuroMatic on the Storm.

I wish they offered them but I’m not going to seek alternate sources to get the newest audio format vs getting on K with a real F’n good audio track.

Apparently it’s been upgraded to DV and Atmos on AppleTV…
Ha, I was about to say "Check Apple". Yup, they're available digitally now and therefore K should have access. In addition, K has a good track record with NBCUniversal so I'd consider this a slam dunk... in time. The fact that they're not already available like they are on Apple may mean that K has them in the queue as general DV upgrades rather than new releases associated with a specific date.

BTW, kudos to Universal for doing this. This series has long been an example where a studio's different physical and digital sides of the house didn't have access to the same assets, leading to disparities. To take the opportunity of a new physical release to align digital parity is something I'd love to see more studios do.

THIS. This is so important and I wish more people knew this. If you're even thinking about getting into K, you should spend A LOT of time on the K Web Store. Find your favorites, look at the details. Find the next tier of titles. Look up 100 movies you'll pick up. The K Store is the real product you're paying for, and you can see all the details before purchase. I think it's fantastic that K lets you do this, and I think it's underutilized by prospective owners.

^^I did this exact thing before I decided to jump into the K ecosystem. I had a list of 100 movies that I wanted to watch, and I searched the K store to make sure they offered the movies in 4k.

That's good news. I noticed Apple has Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III in Dolby Vision and Atmos. The odd thing is The Lost World Jurassic Park only show HDR and Dolby Audio (5.1). I think we should expect that will be upgraded as well. I hope they also get around to encoding Jurassic World (the first one) in Atmos....although the disc is DTS-X...but I'd take that as well : )
