HDMI switch suggestions

I have used Gefen products for years and they have always been rock solid, I use the one in the link below. Whether it handles what you are trying to do I can't say but as a brand and the support they are excellent.

Unfortunately, this is a splitter, 1 in 8 out. We are looking at switches. 8 in 1 out.

Ooops sorry wrong link - I have the older 6 in to 2 out version. I also have a splitter. The one below is up to 8 in and 8 out

While this is an enterprise grade unit, im not sure it even specs out as well as the one I posted. For the use case we're discussing, I only need a switch and this looks like it is still 2.0 and 4:2:2

The switch arrived. Initial reaction...it is much larger than I imagined. Seems well assembled. Comes with rack ears and you can turn the auto Switcher on and off. I'll keep you guys posted when I install it later this week.

It also comes with optional rubber feet if you don't plan to rackmount it. A nice added touch since they are not pre-installed which allows them to fit in the tighter space on your rack. Everything passed through flawlessly. I have not tried the auto-switching function yet, I will have to report back on that.

Update. This is still working great. I had an image issue, but it turned out to be my HDMI cable and was flawless upon replacement.

It can be programmed to the Harmony Elite using the IR blaster. It also has an RS-232 port so you can program through home assistant.

Both ways allow you to control which HDMI port to use when doing an activity. Overall, very happy with this unit.
