Halloween Update?

Shout Factory owns the 4K master of Halloween II, but doesn’t have digital distribution rights for it like they do for the first one, Lionsgate still does, but only for the older HD master. Halloween II isn’t available for purchase in 4K on any other digital retailers, so K probably wouldn’t be able to get it either.

Thats too bad. At this point, I'd be happy with the HD version. I just won't consider the SD version....Thanks for reply.

You joke, but until the recent Halloween 4K upgrade, Halloween 3 was the most recently updated title in the classic series.

Halloween 3: Season of the Witch was added to the K Store in HD a scant 18 months ago in April 2024. This is actually the best quality available digitally, so while multiple titles are stuck in the SD world, Halloween 3 somehow got the magic touch. :)
 
Ill buy any of the halloween movies they put out in 4k. Itunes has halloween 4, 5, 6, h20 all in 4k dolby vision. I would love it if KScape eventually got them as well
 
If K wanted to make a Power Move [TM], they would set up a distribution shell and start obtaining digital distribution ownership, allowing for many more digital exclusives and/or licensing revenue to other platforms.
