Ordered mine first week of October and got an email
today stating it is shipping soon.
I backed in September of 2024. Backer #4589. I haven't heard anything.
Wow, that's a good sign they're attempting shipping to the US.
I'm in a similar boat, or back of the same bus! I backed in Dec. 2024. #5064. Also nothing.
I will note that the back of the bus is where all the cool kids hang out.

I emailed them asking about it and this was their latest response:
We soon resume shipping to the US in larger volumes.
As much as we would like to, we cannot provide individual shipping updates to everyone.
Once your reward has been processed, you'll receive an email from us with the shipping information and the tracking number. You will be able to follow the shipping status on the courier's website.

@Edgar I wonder if they're putting kickstarter orders on the back burner since they are not obligated to fulfill them. Maybe they're trying to pay their bills with new money from pre-orders that have the ability to cancel, unlike is kickstarter people.

Hmm, I see how it looks that way. I’m not sure the reduced obligation is as much a factor as the economics overall. I observe them batching together shipments in the way that’s most economical for them. It could be that new preorders are put in that mix too. It seems to me that since shipments have resumed to the US, we are very close to getting ours.
I ordered on their website.
There's a Discord chat for UC as well, and there it appears that late US backers are starting to get their FedEx shipment notifications and deliveries!

Happy to hear it for you. Frustrating for early backers. Whats more disappointing is that the reviews dont seem great and I'm already locked into it. Hopefully bugs continue to get worked out.
Yeah, on the one hand, frustrating we haven’t had ours ship yet, on the other hand, the Discord is full of support issues. Maybe we’ll benefit from the next round of bug fixing before ours arrive!

Picked up a used one a few days ago…..it’s so illogical on setup, I’ve muddled through to get Oppo, Strato V, ATV4K partially setup, Trinnov for very basic. I couldn’t repeat the process, no logic.
Can’t get Strato S working at all.
I’d like volume control to work on whatever setting UC3 is on.
It seems half finished, without other people making the files to control stuff it would be fairly useless.
Unfolded need to add these Integrations without it being a custom…oh and the naming convention they use is bonkers

Yes - you have to do your homework. Watch all of @thrillcat's videos, get a free Discord account (if you don't have one) and follow the Unfolded Circle Discord channel, and get a free GitHub account (if you don't have one) where you can download the custom integrations (listed on the Discord Integrations channel). The best place for support is on the Discord channel where all the integration developers "live."
You have to tell the remote which device controls the volume by programming the volume buttons in an activity. It doesn't know if you are listening through a TV, soundbar, or an AVR/processor.
I have the AppleTV, Trinnov, and Kaleidescape integrations and all work perfect, but YMMV. I haven't dealt with programming two different Kaleidescape devices on the remote, but don't see why that would be an issue. Like Home Assistant, the entire business model of the Remote 3 is based on open source software and third-party volunteer developers writing the integrations. They wouldn't have half the integrations they currently have without the custom integration developers.
