if I understand the question correctly, you can just set up a separate "favorite scene" for each of the songs on each DVD and then make a script detailing out all of the songs in the order you want through the "scripts" tab on the "my Kaleidescape" weblink on your PC.

The script will be accessible on your K user interface in the "Movie Collections" section under the "scripts" tab.

Thats what I figured.
I was hoping you could add favorite scenes to play in a chosen order rather than a ready made script which will be the same each time.It would be nice to choose the songs you want to listen to on the fly as you can with music, depending on your mood, as the work has been done to name the individual tracks. Is there any way to create a script via the on screen control?

Thanks again for the reply

Unfortunately, not possible. There are ways to create regular music track playlists on the fly, but (as of yet) there's no way to make scripts for video actions via the on screen UI. You have to use your web browser.

As an aside, several owners here requested more advanced scripting features... FOUR years ago. http://www.kscapeowners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54

Not a thing has happened since. The scripting and the Favorite Scene interfaces are embarrassingly out-of-date, clunky, buggy, and just plain neglected at Kaleidescape. Wait til you try to import and export Favorite Scenes, especially when you get past a few dozen stored on your system. The UI for that looks like it was a placeholder 6 years ago and never got an engineer and a UI person assigned to it. Looks like something you'd see on a mid-80s terminal emulator.

It may well be because they found that so few owners ever used those features, but I'd suggest that it became self-fulfilling. It's not used much because the interface is lousy, then K sets its priorities by looking at usage numbers and finds its not worth improving. hmmm.

I wouldn't place much hope in any improvements here. I gave up asking them years ago.

Shame too, because these features held a lot of potential.
