Au store bundles?

Only recently able to join the K bandwagon now that it has officially launched in Australia (so vpn not needed) and the strato e has come out.

Wondering if the Aus store ever gets superbundles like the US store?

The Black Friday sales haven’t had any bundles I can see, just individual movie discounts.
 
Answer from kaledeiscape movies team:

“All pricing is set by the studios, so there is a possibility to have special content sets in the Australian store, however pricing and availability will be determined by our studio partners.”

I.e. not yet, but potentially in future yes.
 
Definately worth emailing the local store in AUD and asking about it. The more pressure on them the more likely they will offer bundles.
 
Do you happen to have an email address for the local Aus store?

Only one I’ve seen is movies@kaleidescape.com which I emailed, but that’s the US team (is there even an Australian store team??? Kaleidescape seems like a very small US based company)

Im afraid I dont. But you could try emailing the local importer in Australia. They should be able to provide a point of contact.

Yeah unfortunately they just direct me to the main website and main contact emails. Don’t think there’s really a dedicated Australian store team.

There definitely isn't a dedicated Australian store team (at least not presently). My understanding is that there are ongoing negotiations with the distributors, such as Disney, that have rights to content in Australia (for content not currently in the AUD store). Who is making these discussions I have NFI (distributor here in AUD, maybe). My big annoyance with the current AUD store is the predatory pricing. Titles that are $14.95 USD I have seen for as much as $54.95 AUD in the AUD store. That's just BS in this globally connected market. The USD store currently has the three Tron movies as a package, for example, but these are not even available singularly through the AUD store (yet). Its hard as an AUD customer as you try to support the format, but the content just isnt there and the pricing is far from parity......
 
Yes exactly my thoughts.

Zero bundles. Overly priced movies.

When you can get the entire LOTR trilogy on Apple TV for $14.99, or the entire Jurassic park 7 movie series for only slightly more than one movie on kscape… hard to justify buying average movies on kaleidescape.

I’ll be saving kscape purchases for movies I really want best quality in. To buy every bond movie is $520 on kaleidescape or $60 on Apple TV… happy enough having the older ones just as streaming quality and will just buy the latest few.

same with mission impossible, fast and furious, mad max etc. no bundles, and a single movie ~$35 compared to the entire series bundled for that price on Apple.

Hopefully they launch some bundle pricing in Australia soon, and add more content to the very limited selection available so far, otherwise I don’t see them getting any traction locally in Australia
