  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Kaleidescape Gear Marketplace"? 🤔

    To sell gear on the forum, you need to have a current "premium" (paid) membership on the forum.

    The Kaleidescape Owners Forum doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. The fees for these premium memberships for people who sell gear here is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

    To summarize the tiers of membership:

    • Registered (free) members can participate in any discussions anywhere on the forum, message other users, download favorite-scene files and script files, and reply to any marketplace listings.
    • "Supporter"-tier members (as little as $15 for 30 days) can also make listings in the Kaleidescape (ONLY) gear Marketplace in order to try to sell Kaleidescape gear.
      (Supporters can NOT make listings on the Non-Kaleidescape Forum)
    • "Premium" and "Patron"-tier members, (starting at $50 for 6 months) in addition to many other benefits, can make listings to either of the marketplace sections here in this forum section.

Kaleidescape 5U KServer-2500 (Grandfathered) /Kaleidescape KPlayer 5000 Bundled System.

The KPlayer-5000 just had a new Optical Drive installed in it.

Excellent Working condition Kaleidescape KSERVER-2500 5U server. This Server is Grandfathered in so you can still import DVD’S,CD’S & Bluray’s.
It has TWO 1TB. Hard drives and Seven 750GB Hard drives in it for a total of 7.25 TB of storage. As configured it will hold 149 Bluray or 894 DVD’s or 8,940 Cd’s or any combination of all of them.

WARRANTY STATUS: The Server,Player and all the drives are out of warranty.

Granfathered: This Server is Grandfathered in so you can still import DVD’S,CD’S & Bluray’s It carries the required DVD import license to be able to import DVDs, CD’S & Blurays to the server. This feature is no longer available on any servers that were sold after 11/26/2014

Blurays:
In order to play Blurays You will need to have an M Class Player M300 OR M500.
The M300 will let you play Blurays and download HD movies to your server
The M500 will let you import and play Blurays and also download HD movies to your server.
You will need a M700 Or DV700 Bluray Vault to store your Blurays that are not available for download.

4K Content: When Update becomes available You will be able to merge this premiere system with the new 4K Strato/Encore system to Expanded your Kaleidescape system to all the new 4K Content.
Note: You will have to buy the new 4K equipment to make that function work.
