4K Cinematic HDR10 titles with 4:4:4 chroma sampling

The difference between native 422 and 444 would be so fleeting it isn't even remotely in the stratosphere of being a big deal, so I really wouldn't worry about that at all. The vast majority of displays are going to likely convert to something at some point anyway for any processing they are doing.
I could be misunderstanding but the way I think about this in my head is...playing a regular 4k version of file on a Strato V to a JVC = Player upscaling to 4:2:2...JVC does its processing internally at 4:2:2 so all is good. Playing a C4k file on a Strato K to a JVC....now the JVC is having to downsample to 4:2:2. Logic would say that is always better to downsample than to upsample since you are starting with a "better" source?

I guess it's different in the UK? I show all four as being Cinematic for Captain America in the US:

Well, that is disappointing, and I just put VPN on, and it's asking for money to upgrade. These boxsets and all my Marvel and Star WarsIMG_5203.png IMG_5204.png
films were bought through the US store. Not sure why it is asking me to pay again when cinematic was supposed to be a free upgrade.

None of the Disney stuff is available in the UK. These were bought either from the US or Canadian store. So why should there be just some upgrades if they're from the Canadian store? Not sure how to check, as it could actually be from the US store.

As I am a VPN user and appreciate that staff can't comment, as it's a rights issue. I then ask Canadian users to look at what is missing and whether you can nudge Kaleidescape on this as you have no rights issues like me.

Try the browser version instead of the app. No VPN is needed since you already own the titles.
