    Thanks Tayloe.. I think the power supply route is a good option. KS only offered the K1550-0950 as a fix.. and we are on our third rejiggered 3U chassis.. I'll give it a shot, thanks for the recommendation

    Hi all.. I managed to find a second hand 3U server on ebay after mine failed on the network connection. can anyone tell me if i can simply put my disks into this chassis and off we go? Or is it hardware locked to the disks that were in it? I am hoping idont have to dismantle both just to swap...

    Yes i tried that, but without a proper NIC thats not an option. I did get the serial log out but that doesnt show any issues. K are saying i need to replace the chassis at $7000 ! I'm pretty sure all i need is a motherboard at most :( thanks anyway J

    Hi.. i have had 11 kplayer 5000's for a good ten years.. question is, do they all have an exact life expectancy? I have lost every one in the last year.. I know 10 years is a lot, and they are obsolete AF, but thats got to be a programmed time of death surely

    I know its been a while.. but i believe the issue was how to get your itunes library onto the KS server.. not the other way around. I have around 60,000 tracks on my itunes server and was just about to splurge on a new 14 x 4TB server so I could at last consolidate all my media in one solution...
