nobody "called" or requested or alerted! I read every post on the forum, and was trying to just proactively head off a potential devolving of the tone here. PROactively, not REactively. Possibly a mistake to have jumped in early. As I said, I appreciate all your contributions here enormously, and know it's valuable to the community!

And it's why, as you know, I've offered multiple times to create for you a complete new forum area for you to oversee and moderate, where instead of one long 50+ pages thread, there could be discussions and analysis of each movie or issue you find in its own post, for others to find and track, and for Kaleidescape to respond or resolve. Threads can then be closed if and when that particular movie gets fixed and you find them acceptable, etc. You declined the offer and I respect that... Whatever way you want to keep doing the valuable work you're doing here is welcomed. What I proposed would have created more work for you and I don't want you to be turned off of the good work you're already doing.
 
Don’t you see the “Report” button? Or perhaps you're like 99% of people on this forum, blind to the encoding issues?

The only interactions we’ve had was me saying I respect what you are doing but don’t agree with your attitude. Feel free to find any post where I’ve attacked or mocked you or whether that is just you going into automatic defence mode.

I actually ignore that stuff you do now because I’m pretty sure there’s another reason for it but not something I will go into. But just to clarify it wasn’t to mock you, it was just to add a bit of humour into the place because the idea made me laugh.

I would say I won’t be back but let’s face it, I will 😂.

I’m fully aware that most people reading this thread probably can’t stand me, and yeah, I’m deliberately unfriendly. That’s intentional. It makes people think twice before jumping in with nonsense. If I wasn’t like that, this thread would be flooded with comments downplaying the issue and praising KS.

Honestly, if it were up to me, the thread would be locked and limited strictly to my objective, lossless comparisons.

Stop with the accusations and speculation, I know exactly what you’re implying.
I’m doing this because I’m a serious cinephile and I want my library to be the highest quality possible. That’s it. None of my captures have ever shown up on piracy sites, and anyone who actually navigates the high seas can confirm that. I do all of this strictly for myself.

It's borderlne. This is the only thread members complain about. We've been trying to keep it civil, but it's getting more difficult to do that lately. My advice is to do what the others have done and avoid the thread.

So as an example, calling someone defensive can be seen as mocking. You might not feel that way, but some might.
 
Let's just stop the silliness. If the thread was a problem it would be gone, it's still here, end of story. If it were to devolve into a verbal sparing contest between those that care and those that don't, then it's a problem. That hasn't happened yet, let's hope it does not.

The OP and friends will continue to post, and those that don't like what they read should avoid the thread, it's really just that simple.

+1 to @Rmarci suggestion that this thread be focused on the visual comparisons he posts, the flaws and defects that have been identified, and K's actions to fix them. This thread gets flooded with distractions and that content which is the topic of this thread gets buried.

Also you’ve got it backwards, you’d actually get more recognition and respect if you weren’t like that. As it is, you are putting people off and making them take you less seriously which is why it’s mostly only people with the same mindset engaging. Feel free to disagree but I’m just saying.
