Can we get Home Alone 2 4k added to the store? It’s been on disc for 3 years, right?

No? I don't see any record of this movie being released on 4K UHD Blu-ray. It's definitely not available in 4K digitally, which is all that matters for the K Store. When it is available, if K doesn't get it, you can submit a request to: movies@kaleidescape.com

I feel like the chance of Home Alone 2 being upgraded might have increased as recently someone at Disney/Fox seems to have woken up and begun bringing more 4k catalogue upgrades to digital storefronts. Day After Tomorrow for example has been on Disney+ in 4k for three years and as a post above notes, is now available in 4k on K. Home Alone 2 has been 4k on D+ for a couple of years now, so hopefully it will get upgraded on iTunes/K too in due course. I'd like to see the extended version of Muppet Christmas Carol made available outside o D+ exclusivity too, though I appreciate that K's track record for offering alternate versions of films is not as consistent as other platforms.

It would be nice to see it upgraded outside of D+ in time for Christmas this year, but who knows. Either way, I'm gradually becoming more encouraged about the Fox back catalogue with digital releases of Planet of the Apes ('68), Napoleon Dynamite, Sideways and now Day after Tomorrow happening (none of which have received physical media announcements). They're sitting on many more 4k masters, some of which are on D+ in various territories like Patton, Devil Wears Prada and There's Something About Mary, so there's a lot more that they could publish for purchase if they feel so inclined, and again they do seem to be picking up the slack in recent months. There are some Touchstone/Hollywood Pictures titles like High Fidelity that have been exclusive to D+ for a long time now too that I'd also like to see made available to purchase.

Now if we can just have Disney/Fox libraries on the UK K store I'll be one step closer to considering buying in. 😆 (yes, I'm aware of the workarounds to buy from the US. I still think it's important that the UK store have those films too though).

Napoleon (2023) from Sony Pictures updated to include DV with DTS-HD Master 5.1

Anyone know why I can't find "Slumdog Millionaire" when doing a search at the Store? I did a search on the forums and found that it has been for sale in the past but can't find it now.

It looks like it's currently unavailable for purchase at any digital store in the US. Maybe Disney is preparing a 4K or they've licensed it to a boutique label (Criterion?).

After 15+ years it's most likely that they no longer have the rights to distribution as Fox never had an actual hand in producing the film.
