Last movie watched

Little late in adding these but my Independence Day tradition is a Double Feature of Independence Day and Jaws. Those movies speak for themselves. It's just a fun holiday tradition.

First post out here; watched Bad boys for life: ride or die (Dolby Vision) on my new V. My first movie on the platform. Thoroughly entertaining feature and the audio in particular was fantastic. Great HT experience overall.

Planning to watch Kill later tonight. Really looking forward to watching this.

I’m very interested in seeing Kill, it’s in my queue as well. Please do post your impressions!

I watched Kill last night. This is arguably one of the most exhilarating, high octane action thrillers of the year..imho of course. The audio was quite immersive, I just wish there was an HDR option. FYI, this is only available in 4k/sdr. But still worth the pickup. I had missed this in the theaters.

I have preordered the Amazon exclusive steelbook for this as well, since the disc apparently supports HDR.

Just watched twisters. Really enjoyed the movie for what it is. Always loved the OG twister, but I can appreciate this new one as well. I found the track to be very immersive and the atmos implementation imho was at a par, or probably even surpassed Twister. Fantastic sound design.

Height channels were always active. Generous amount of LFE during the storm sequences. Great HT experience all around.

I also thought the sound design on both of these were top tier. Kill is the first movie that has in the credits a “Atmos consultant” that I have seen.

Just a reminder, if you paste the URL of a Kaleidescape Store page for a particular movie, the forum software here converts it to a summary with cover art and preserves the link. Then others here can just click to buy your recommendations without starting a search over again at the store.

example: - I found the store page for "Kill", copied the the full URL from the browser address bar,

and when i paste it in to a message here on the forum it turns into this:

Ho-ly crap. I just watched Kill, and it was absolutely insane! I’m not sure I can watch it again. But just in case I can recover from the experience, I’ll grab the HDR disc as well.

I do notice that features like Atmos and HDR do sometimes get added later. That may happen here.

Two completely unrelated questions: (1) Living in the US, can I purchase from the UK Kaleidescape Store, and if so, how?; (2) Is there as way to get a listing of every movie I have purchased from K (and what I paid for it). Not 100% sure I want there to be one:(!

It is under Manage -> My Account on Kaleidescape.com, labeled Purchase History:

Ya'll got me wanting to watch it and just FYI Atmos has been added... if you ever want an upgrade video or audio all you have to do is watch the movie and the next day it will be upgraded!

Atmos has always been there, we were alluding to lack of HDR.

BlackBerry - hadn't heard about it until it showed up on K. Interesting movie. The performances are great! I'd watch again just for those and the hair design.

I had not heard of it until your post. Will most certainly add to the list [I have a daughter that works for Apple - she might enjoy as well].

Whether you were a BlackBerry person or an Apple person it's a fun watch. Glenn Howerton is terrific.

We watched Quiet place Day one. It is good but we felt like similar to 1 &2 . It is not really showing how/what happened, but just showing creatures attacking similar to 1&2. We expected Prequel to focus on how they get started.
