Store "Hole" Feedback

;)

I managed to fit everything by deleting and editing some studio names, you can check and if OK delete your post. Up to you !

I just figured this out. I guess I messed you up with the edits. Sorry!

Here are a few titles only available in DVD-quality that have Blu-ray discs out there. Note that all of these movies are listed on Blu-ray.com as available on Blu-ray disc, but those at the bottom only appear as part of a double feature (not sure if that affects availability).

Standalone discs

Part of double feature

Jaws with the UHD disc coming, is not fully represented in the Kaleidescape store.

2 and 3 are there, but only in SD. 4 is not there at all, but has had a Blu-ray disc release.

The 1986 Transformers movie is present in the store with rights by Cinedigm which I think is related to Shout Factory.

Shout also has the rights to the 1980's G.I. Joe animated movie from the TV show.

I would love have both films in my Kaleidescape.

A single Bruce Lee movie is in the store "Enter the Dragon".

His other four films appear to be rights held my Miramax and there's a web of rights related to Miramax properties. I'm not sure if this counts as a new studio or not technically since it could be complicated rights, but having all 5 Bruce Lee films would be awesome.

The Big Boss
Fist of Fury
The Way of the Dragon
The Game of Death

These are elsewhere digitally in HD and have had a few BD releases. Criterion though is preparing a 5 film boxset now too.

Laika films dropped out of the store some time ago, except for "The Missing Link" and "Corpse Bride".

Would love to see the other 4 films come back.

Note that I owned Coraline and ParaNorman before they were pulled and those are properly still listed in my owned movies. So a good testament that when you buy content from Kaleidescape, even if it has to pull from the store, you still keep your rights.

Unless I am blind, “The Legend of Bagger Vance” is not on the store starting Will Smith and Matt Damon. The movie is directed by Robert Redford and it’s a Dreamworks Picture.

Saving Private Ryan is available in 4K on disc but not in the K store.

The following movies are NOT the original theatrical release, but only directors cut or some extended versions which sucks when you’re expecting to download the original movie! And the version isn’t stated in the Kstore, which is deceiving when you're expecting the original.

Donnie Brasco
Friday - This one says directors cut on the cover art, just like the Blu-ray and the cover art is identical, but the Blu-ray contains the original also, which this download does not.

The thread has slowed down a bit, so I'm going to share the link to it with the content management folks at Kaleidescape. I'd encourage everyone here to continue using this thread and post new additions as you discover them. Thanks!
