US Digital Releases for September & October 2026

Butthole Surfers: The Hole Truth and Nothing Butt (2025) in SDR/HD with PCM Stereo from The Hole Truth

I believe it is being released by Criterion on 4k uhd disc very soon? Kscape doesn’t support Criterion releases at this time.
Yes, its release date is this coming Tuesday. I got my copy yesterday, but haven’t had a chance to play it yet. What I can say is not only is the box sleeve art gorgeous, really showing Victor playing god in the style of renaissance paintings, but the interior box art is stunning as well. The two panels tell the story of this film. You start with what you expect, but halfway through it become something much more interesting. I’m considering presenting both face-out in my library wall.

Mine also arrived recently alongside my Deluxe Collector’s Edition Steelbook (UK) of Little Shop of Horrors. I’m looking forward to watching the Director’s Cut of each in the near future, and disappointed one of them won’t be on K.

@Edgar and @LoveCinema - There are people who love movies and there are REAL MOVIE LOVERS - I group you both in the latter. Very fun to see you guys post - hunting down the very best movies in every format and watching with family and friends - KUDOS.

Glad to see the new Shaun the Sheep movie hit K in 4K no less. Hope this means we may see the previous film Farmagedon hit the store at some point, though I wonder if there is some agreement with Netflix for exclusivity. I imported the 4K Blu-ray from Europe some time ago and use it for demonstration material quite often. It is absolutely stunning in video quality given the nature of the production/capture and the content.

Really looking forward to Clayface dropping soon. One of the more refreshing DC examples in a long time. Had fun watching this in the theater.

I keep seeing rumors of Nov 3rd for Resident Evil (2026). I’m really hoping we have this as a surprise Halloween drop tomorrow, but doubt it.

That'd be a pleasant surprise. I can only see that happening if it's a mistake, like Mickey 17. But I'm confident about the Nov 3rd release.

I try not to read any reviews if possible...
But it fitted a timeslot before Digger and it was in a Dolby screen.

My wife wants to watch it. Should I steer clear?
I haven't seen the movie. The critic reviews were not good at all, but audience reviews are more accepting.

I'm interested in it for both the plot and the actors but I'll go into it with low expectations...

But is it worth the $25 or wait for a sale? Look at it as if you would pick up a $20 bill on the side walk, vs, leaving it and walking by. ;)

Not sure I get the analogy. Personally I haven't purchased anything above $20 yet and I have so many movies to watch...

Someone gave me this analogy. At what point in your financial life, would you walk by a $20 bill vs. picking it up. Would you pick up a quarter? A $1, $5 or $10 bill? So, to the point, is it worth wasting $25 on it?
