The updated audio is really good. Atmos track for what little I listened to it is a very solid upgrade.

FYI, these updates are a long time coming and date back to the Strato V days. The entire series got Dolby Vision upgrades and they came with Atmos tracks. At the time, K said that the other 4K versions would get the Atmos tracks and these were in the pipeline. I reminded K about this recently when looking at some of the similar gaps taking place now with 4KC updates. Well, they're here! Hopefully we see the rest of the series updated and this gap is plugged.

Shrek 2 and 3 are now cinematic. Just need the first Shrek to round it out.

These 2 movies updated to 4K Cinematic HDR only but Apple TV has Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

The discs support Dts:X (Shrek 1-3) and atmos for Shrek forever.

And the upcoming Shrek 4k Blu-Ray (11/3) will have both DV and atmos. Hopefully K maintains parity.

Didn’t work out, ended up buying the extended cut as well.

This update was in response to a support ticket I raised last week - incorrect metadata, which rendered the picture dull and lifeless. Now resolved and picture is superb.

I watched it last night, The audio was bombastic and loud. The picture seemed very grainy at times. I wasn’t dazzled like other movies such as Mission Impossible, Bond or Marvel movies that really give that Wow factor.
