You have the 4k or Blu-ray Discs for the trilogy?Great, I was waiting to purchase the D2D copies of the Extended editions only after all three had been updated to Cinematic.
I think it was the Blu-ray discs. I've given a lot of discs away since then, but when I cataloged them on K, the digital offers show both the theatrical and the extended editions for $4.92. I have all six in my offers but will only purchase the extended versions. You have the 4k or Blu-ray Discs for the trilogy?
I bought the entire middle earth collection during the sale for under $100. So I have both the theatrical and extended editions in cinematic.I think it was the Blu-ray discs. I found them, they are the 3D Hobbit movies in BD.I bought the entire middle earth collection during the sale for under $100. So I have both the theatrical and extended editions in cinematic.
All (including SDR/HD) with Dolby TrueHD Atmos nowDa Vinci code just got updated to cinematic…wow.
I was hoping that was Wonder Woman lolBlack Panther and Wonder also updated to cinematic.
Changes in resolution are paid upgrades: SD to HD, HD to 4K. Within resolutions the upgrades are free: 4K SDR to 4K HDR, 4K HDR to 4K Dolby Vision, 4K to 4K Cinematic. Upgrade prices range from <$5 to nearly full price depending on the studio. If I buy a film that is currently HD or 4K and it gets updated to a higher quality - is the upgrade applied or do I have to pay a upcharge?
No, if you buy an HD title and it upgrades to 4K, you will have to pay $4.92 for most studio titles. If it's Disney, Fox or MGM among a few others, you still have to pay almost the full price for the upgrade.New owner here.
Curious about how movie upgrades work.

I know on Apple TV - any HD to 4K upgrades have always been free and automatic.
hoping it is the same here at Kaleidescape.
Thanks!
I'm not sure one is better than the other but on ocassion, I do think the Cinematic HDR10 version looks better than the DV version. Just today, I compared the DV and HDR10 versions of "3:10 to Yuma" and thought that the HDR10 C version looked slightly better. This is probably a very noobie question but I will have downloaded the 4k Cinematic HDR10 version and then have an update available listed for the Dolby Vision version. Should I be updating these if I don't have a Dolby Vision device? I know it will convert it but are the DV versions better than HDR10?
