Wiring from Central Equipment Rack

Hello All

I plan to keep my Strato C's and Apple TV on my equipment rack on the bottom 4th floor of my home but connect to TV's in my bedroom that is on the 3rd floor of my home using CAT 6A cabling that has already been run to these points. Is this possible or should I get Rupiro Fiber Optic Cables? I would assume the run to be at least 100 feet.

Cheers

Raj

CAT 6A most likely will work assuming no interference from other cables and electrical lines and quality HDMI transmitters/receivers. Here's link to info for one of Crestron's 4K HDR transmitters, the Specifications tab has guidelines for cable lengths - Crestron Electronics, Inc.
Just need to see if they have something like this with Control 4. I use that automation and it would be useful

Sure, they aren't cheap. For the MaxColor is roughly $1200 per source (transmitter) and $1200 per destination (receiver). So if there are 3 Rokus and a cable box you want to be able to cast to 5 TVs you'd need 4 transmitters and 5 receivers. They do make some 3 and 4 input transmitters, but I'm not sure on the price since I haven't used them. I also have a couple of their wall plates sources for if friends bring over a source they want to use (laptop, gaming console, whatever). The MaxColors and the high end 3G units can also strip out the audio if you have a few audio only areas so you can at least hear what's going on. I use it for my grilling speakers while the game is on.
