Wireless rear speakers

So I have to leave my current apartment end of next month, which means ripping out my whole theater and moving it to a new home. 😭😭😭 Is anyone using wireless rear speakers? In a new place, the AV receiver will be close to the front speakers, so that'll be easy to connect. But running cables to the rear speakers will be challenging. So I wonder if there are decent (but you know, not expensive!) wireless options. Any ideas, suggestions from people who know? Just for reference, my 3 front speakers are JBL SCL-7.

Thanks!

SVS makes a wireless transmitter/receiver pair. If you have pre-outs you can use something like that.
I think other manufacturers have similar products.

So, transmitter on pre-pro/AVR, to an amp for the rears, and done. I have such a setup using a Russound solution.

Downsides:
  • despite claims to the contrary, my receiver "sees" the lag over wireless and adds like 30ft to the distance.
  • for my sides (which are also wireless) using the Russound, the "sync" gets lost and they crackle a bit. Finding a different frequency fixes it for a while.
  • having a AVR and the transmitter and the receiver and an amp can be a bulky solution.
I aspire to an Piega Ace 30 wireless system but that totally destroys my budget :-D
