I have decided to add another layer of security to my home network.
What URL (or URLs) does a server or player use to talk to the Kaleidescape service cloud. Can I simply white list kaleidescape.com to ensure it is exempted from this new security mechanism?
The good news is that the service does not have the kaleidescape.com domain flagged for any category so nothing should occur unless I enable pure whitelisting. Regardless, being prepared is always good thus the Q.
For those who are curious, I am layering in a DNS based filtering service by OpenDNS (now part of Cisco Umbrella). They offer a free version for home use which can offer URL filtering service to a number of categories plus custom block or allow additions.
Cheers
