US BR & 4K Releases for November & December 2023

From the inter webs talk about it, you probably wouldn't want to get it based on feedback from the 4K reviews and chatter. K may have got it and looked at it and decided it wasn't up to snuff (they have done this in the past).

The higher rental price only seems to be affecting the UK store. Both the US and the CDN store show a lower price for rental than for purchase.

I've forwarded the question to our Content team to have them verify the pricing.
 
Was hoping to see the new 4Ks of Young Guns and Stand By Me today. Still waiting on The Mist in 4K as well. Seems like Lionsgate has been on the ball for day and date releases, but not so much for their catalog stuff.
 
Stand By Me is a Sony title and not available in 4K on itunes or vudu. Also the disc doesn’t even include a digital code.

Young Guns and The Mist are both available in 4K on itunes and vudu so my money is on K being the hold up on those for one reason or another.

Point Break was licensed by Shout for disc, so that seems unlikely to hit the K store any time soon. I do hope K will get Young Guns, The Mist, and other recent studio releases (thinking of Scream 3 and Rosemary’s Baby, for example) as soon as they can.

The disc version has 15 hours of special features. It seems like most new releases on K don't have any special features now. Very disappointing to have to buy the disc again.

I thought the same but holding out hope as the HD version disappeared from the store a few weeks ago.
 
Since Napoleon is an Apple TV production, I’m guessing we won’t see it all on Kscape. Thoughts?

Distribution is by Columbia Pictures, through Sony Pictures. Apple TV may get earlier access because Apple Original Films is also involved, but I expect we will eventually see it on K. (Just my opinion, no inside knowledge on this one.)

Any ideas on when The Color Purple 4K will be added to the store?

The Color Purple 4K was released digitally and on disc December 5th. I sent an email to KScape, but haven't yet received a reply.

I will have to put them back to my vaults, one disc per season should be enough for D2D. In the meantime they are no longer available but they should show up again shortly.
