Tswift Eras Tour For Buy vs Rent?

Flame away but genuinely asking for my daughters.

I see Eras Tour show available for rent on Kscape but anyone know if / when it will be available for purchase. My girls would probably watch it 100 times over the upcoming holiday break.

I'd think at least a month - January 13th would be 3 months from the theatrical release. But, this was also produced without a typical studio - AMC played that role so I have no clue what their timings would be. Kscape shows NBC as the studio though.

Rent it and make sure they watch it 100 times within that 48 period. It will not be available to buy before break.

I'm renting it for my sisters, knowing I'll be buying it as well once available.

No one without the last name Swift knows for sure (nothing has been announced), I think it's entirely possible they're holding on sell-through to maintain value for a streaming partner after the PVOD rental window.

Since Ms Swift is the best Business person in the Industry - I am keen to observe how she 'milks' this movie - Another case study for Business Schools..

She's more interested in getting paid what she deserves via taking control of her material from the industry, less about milking the fans.

I have no kids, but I am taking my niece to Portugal in May to watch. We will be making a vacation out of this and the ticket prices for good seats are affordable there.

Yup, she learned that lesson early.....the hard way.

Her music is not my cup of tea but I can certainly see the talent and why she's so popular, and I'm 1000% cheering her on in her efforts to create paths around the traditional music industry.

Not a big fan of her music but not a hater either. I love live music and will say the show I took my daughter too was one of best shows I’ve seen. 3hrs nonstop no break but for some 90sec wardrobe transitions. And nonstop. Lady has to be in mad physical shape to pull that off while actually singing with minimal aid from a backing track.

Worth the crazy ticket prices, that I can’t say but it’s what market is paying says her 5nights per city sellouts.

I was buying a bunch of movies yesterday, blindly clicked the link thinking I bought it but just a rental. Darn

Must. Not. Buy. It!! Got to get to mid June before I see any footage :p Did “letmyself” watch the trailer and I just wanted to FFWD to June 14th

I'm guessing that it will never be available to purchase. Taylor hasn't made the video video available for purchase since Speak Now. Red was never available anywhere. 1989 was streamed on Apple TV but never made available for purchase except on bootleg blu rays from China. Reputation is going away on Netflix 12/30 and has never been available for sale (again except for Chinese bootlegs). The Eras tour might someday go from Rental to free streaming, but I doubt it will ever be able to be owned.
