Hi there,
So I am looking at purchasing a system that is not on the marketplace here, but from a private party and I was "assured" that the system has legacy status, but before I shell out the premium price for this system, I would like to know if a dealer will be able to verify legacy status. How does that work? Do they need the serial # of the server?
My second question is once I receive the system, is there anything that I would need to do to transfer the system into my name? I understand that when purchasing new, owners have to sign a contract with K. Will dealers be happy to assist me in setting up used equipment (for a fee, of course) or do they look down on used K equipment?
My last thought, I am located in the Bay Area (Sonoma County) so if any dealers are reading this, feel free to pm or reply with you info.
