Touchpanels with video touch overlays, exit popup menus

If you use a large Crestron or AMX touch panel that has a live video window which you can touch to interact with the Kscape OSD, then this tip is for you.

As you may know, with the OSD With Video templates from Kaleidescape and a video enabled touch panel you can touch elements of the Kaleidescape OSD such as cover art or menu options, sure beats using the up/down/left right/select to navigate. I've seen people using this and if they are on the movie details popup, perhaps looking at "Add to Collection" they will have to use the up, up, up button in order to be able to touch the "return" button to close the movie details popup.

Kscape makes this easier for those users by turning the light blue title bar of the popup into one big exit button. Simply touch the light blue title bar and it will close the popup menu.
