I received my UPS shipping notification this morning, so it seems mine will be in the batch that departs Norway tomorrow. It will be interesting to see what DDD's tariffs end up costing me.

How is that supposed to work anyway if there are additional import fees?I received my UPS shipping notification this morning, so it seems mine will be in the batch that departs Norway tomorrow. It will be interesting to see what DDD's tariffs end up costing me.
I believe that basically once UPS has possession stateside, if there are any additional import fees due from the customer, they send an email to the recipient and allow them to pay the amount due online prior to sending a driver out to deliver it. At least that's what I've been hearing on other items. How is that supposed to work anyway if there are additional import fees?
To follow up on this I’m seeing others in the US who received their remotes today with no additional fees due. Mine has already cleared customs and is due to deliver on Wednesday. How is that supposed to work anyway if there are additional import fees?
Cool. That's what I was figuring, but was preparing for the alternative. Looking forward to your review! To follow up on this I’m seeing others in the US who received their remotes today with no additional fees due. Mine has already cleared customs and is due to deliver on Wednesday.
So review and setup guide Thurs? To follow up on this I’m seeing others in the US who received their remotes today with no additional fees due. Mine has already cleared customs and is due to deliver on Wednesday.
I think that's fair since @thrillcat twisted all of our arms to purchase one of these remotes after he made sure to get in line firsr. So review and setup guide Thurs?![]()
Great video! I love how you're just sitting on that sub. And great channel too, I didn't realize you had your own set of videos distinct from AV Nirvana. I'm going to watch some of these! The setup video will happen quickly. Probably not quite that quickly. UPS sent an update on the delivery timeline and bumped it a day. I also have a remote StormAudio calibration scheduled for Friday, but perhaps over the weekend I can get to it.
Some videos take longer than others. A setup video won't take long at all, really. Not a ton of b-roll or editing, mostly screen recording. The review stuff takes a little longer.
For example, my new subs arrived yesterday while I was working. This was posted by dinnertime.
There’s less structure and polish than what I’m doing for AV Nirvana. Deeper dives, more stream of consciousness.Great video! I love how you're just sitting on that sub. And great channel too, I didn't realize you had your own set of videos distinct from AV Nirvana. I'm going to watch some of these!
I'm annoyingly still waiting as well.Still don't have mine.
Glad to hear it since mine will be replacing my Harmony Elite as well. I got a notification in March that shipping was delayed and would be shipped by the end of April at the latest. Also, they upgraded the shipping method to express delivery because of the delay.I backed in December 2024, and mine arrived in March 2026 as well. While it seems a long time to wait, I also half-jokingly shared with a friend that this advanced $500 remote control was paid for with $400 of 2024's AV budget.
I'll add that the thing is well worth the wait, it's fantastic, fully replaces my Harmony, and additionally gives me two-way communications replacing my Denon app, my K Second Screen app, and my iPad Mini, while also extending that media status information to my other sources like Apple TV's apps including all the streaming media apps, Plex, and YouTube. It's also blazing fast relative to a pure IR blaster setup, and feels more like holding a third of a space gray iPad Mini than a plastic, worn-down, lozenge-shaped 2000s cable tv remote.
