"The Beekeeper" is now available in Dolby Atmos!

"The Beekeeper" is now available in Dolby Atmos.

Maybe it's just a coincidence, but I did submit a Technical Support ticket to Kaleidescape last week where I asked how could this new release that is still in theaters not include the Dolby Atmos track? I also asked about "The Tomorrow War".

Surprisingly, I received a sincere response from Kaleidescape saying that they would investigate it.

I'll probably order it this weekend.

Why rent it for 25.00 when you can buy it for the same amount in a week or two 🤔

I checked Vudu last week and it didn’t have to Atmos track. Now it does. FYI.

I bet each bee was a separate object in the original theater release for home atmos they cluster them together in groups of 4-5, lets see how effective they got it.

Not sure where you were looking but apple tv and vudu have had it in atmos since release. Is what it is but the didn't add it later like k.

I didn’t look at apple but when I looked at Vudu it wasn’t available in Atmos.

Was on both, as above. Not sure what the point of saying it wasn't on vudu or perhaps your browser or phone just had a glitch. Its just that K seems to be lagging or missing things like immersive audio or hdr grades of catalog titles as of late. That or always has and I just noticed it. Whole discussion over at the avs forum. I guess for the billionth time so none of the k fans care if they have immersive or hdr grades so lots of annoyance with the discussion. I'm sure k does their best to get whatever they can, and sometimes just come up short given the limitations of their purchasing power despite being a luxury product. I've ABed the poor atmos streams from the big boys with k uncompressed 5.1 and overall it's still better, but not better than a full immersive track on k or uhd disc. Would love to have it all but that's not how life works, Would just be nice for prospective purchasers of the k eco system to know that k doesn't always get full grades or immersive audio right away or even ever sometimes.

I don’t know why you are being so combative. I was up very early the day this title dropped and I checked Vudu. At that point it did not say it had Atmos. I didn’t check again until the Atmos track showed up on K and Vudu showed the Atmos track at that point.

i admit that the information on Vudu could have been updated anytime between when I first looked and when I checked again a week later. The Atmos information could have been updated a minute after I looked and that’s what you saw. I know what I saw at the time I looked and I assume you do to. But both can be true but we should be to have a civil discussion about it.
