Hey all,

Is it OK to use the USB port on my Strato C to charge my Logitech Harmony remote?
And same question using the USB on the Terra to charge my 3D glasses (when needed)?

I see no problem with this, but a dedicated higher watt USB charger will charge more quickly.

K support got back to me and advised not to use them for charging.
Will move some stuff around and use a proper charger.

I didn't ask. They just said the only thing they would advise hooking up to the USB ports is a DVD player with its own power supply.

My understanding is that when the USB is being used, the Player is placed (my word) in Cataloging mode. I don't know how that affects, or potentially affects any aspect of its operation, but it is recognized by the Player.

A blu-ray player is even better...you often get better deals with Disc to Digital when cataloging Blu-rays.

Makes total sense. But there is also a USB port on the Terra, which is not used for cataloguing.
