Store Access from Abroad

Hey, I just wanted to post something really quick that I found out over these past holidays. I was traveling in Italy for New Years and when I went to buy a couple of movies to download for my wife and son back home, I found out that I had no ability to purchase from the store either from the app on my phone, or from the internet browser. It said that I was in a region that did not allow purchases from the store. Now I knew that if you lived in some other countries and had your system there, that you could not buy anything from the store. But I didn't think that would apply considering that my system, my credit card, and everything that I own is all in the United States. I thought it was weird that I couldn't at least access and buy stuff that was going to be downloaded to a system in the correct region. Did anyone else know about this? Is that just the way it goes? Not that I travel internationally very often, but I thought it was interesting and others might be intrigued to know.

This is expected behavior since the network you were on in Italy is detected as a region that does not support the Store. It not only matters where you K system is installed, but also where you try to access the Store.

That should not be the case, only the region of the final resting place of the files should matter, if the files are downloading into an approved region you should be able to initiate the download from all over the world.

install a free VPN, this should fix your issue.
