Anyone think this movie seems a bit “grainy”? Hopefully the eventual a Disney K 4K version is improved. SJ
 
Yes but i think it is an artistic match so the 2k vfx don't look as soft versus the sharp live action like in Thor Ragnarok. There it screams for 4k vfx. This is more consistent more 35mm like.

Also this is one heck of a neural-X plum.

My supplements is loading fine at 70 now, however....

Do we think we are going to get the 4K version? I'm still hesitant to buy the HD until i have a better idea about 4K.
 
Disney “holds the cards.” - None of the existing UHD Disney releases, i.e. Thor: Ragnarok - released on UHD Disc, are available on the Kaleidescape Store OR Movies Anywhere (Disney’s own service).

Bummer, right!?

Two courses of action: Kaleidescape engineers a UHD DV700; least likely OR Kaleidescape partners with Movies Anywhere AND Movies Anywhere offers a UHD-like movie playback experience; moderately likely.

OR, and most likely to happen at some point in time, Kaleidescape expands partnership with Disney and starts selling Disney 4Κ releases.
 
Wow, we got 200GB worth of Star Wars goodness on the UHD Release! Anyone know how to unlock the Soundtrack only version? It’s on Movies Anywhere.
 
And the 4K HDR version is much improved (video) and the Dolby Atmos soundtrack is great!
