Star Trek - UHD

Wonder if anyone else has downloaded the above title since it's addition to the store. Sat down to watch last night and the playback was blighted by lip-sync issues throughout.

Curious if anyone else has had a similar experience.

I have the disc version, ripped to my NAS and played without issue, via a Zappiti player.

In the meantime I have reported it to K support, to ask the content team to have a look.

I'm guessing you mean the first Kelvin-timeline movie (first original movie appears to be HDR-only, not UHD?)

Gave it a go last night. The UHD w/ Atmos definitely had a few points during the initial bridge scenes that looked like a poorly dubbed foreign flick, and a few points (there and scattered throughout) that just looked off. For the most part, it was fine.

I wonder if it is object-mix related, because as bad as it got, some parts were still fine (Kelvin's captain, as an example.) Additionally, the DD 5.1 track seemed almost fine through the initial bridge scenes, and the lip miss-sync was barely noticeable with the PCM stereo track.

Thanks for testing - I was beginning to think I was seeing things. Never thought to try the alternative tracks, thanks for testing those too.

Any chance you could report to K Support to give some additional evidence and weight to the issue, here's the ticket number - [K-280219] Star Trek UHD - Lip Sync issues [ ref:_00D46j63._500RhA44ti:ref ]. So far I've only had an acknlowledgement.

Sure, but I had to replace my receiver recently and have only calibrated it to the chewing gum & duct tape level, so my results have a larger margin of error than usual. Aside: it sure is hard to focus on mouth-flap and NOT watch the movie, no matter how many times you've seen it before.
