Skipping titles using AMX panels

Hello,
Anyone else have any skipping problems while scrolling titles or covers using a touch panel? When I use the PC to scroll titles and covers I have no problems at all.

When I scroll using the Touch panels I get a delay just as the title expands to show more detail. If I press the up or down arrow to continue scrolling during this expansion, the player wont respond and then 1-2 seconds later will respond and skip over several titles.

Anyone using AMX panels to scroll covers or titles? skipping problems or no?

I'm not using AMX at the moment, but I did call someone using the 8400 and his answer was "no," he has not noticed the problem you described, but he would take a closer look and let me know. (He is not a forum member.)

That friend I mentioned in the above post was unable to duplicate what you reported. He even changed some of the output resolutions fro K, but was unable to induce that glitch. Sorry!

I've had this problem, it's very annoying. Kscape told me it can occur on older slower netlinx processors but we are using an NI 4100.
If you are using the Kaleidescape demo program alone it wont happen but once you add in all the other devices the processor gets bogged down. Kscape told us to change 1 line in the Kaleidescape.axs module. I don't recall what line number but it was KALEIDESCAPE_MAX_BUFFER_SIZE or something, default value was 1024, they had me increase it to 10000 and it helped with some other issues we were having.

Also if you are not using the music portions of the module, comment out the SATP line at the top of the Kaleidescape.axs
 
ooh, seems like we have another experienced Kscape installer on the board now. That's great... Welcome AVPlanet!
 
We finally got this worked out and no more skipping of titles. Kscape worked with my programmer for a while on this. I am also using a NI4000 controller
 
Nice to see it has been fixed.
