To sell gear on the forum, you need to have a current "premium" (paid) membership on the forum.

For sale, the very-rare, 6TB Kaleidescape Cinema One in good working / refurbished condition. It comes complete with the power supply and a white Kaleidescape remote.

It is "Grandfathered", so it will import DVDs (or Blu-Rays / CDs), which makes it even more rare, as most 6TB units were not able to import DVDs. This unit can also be used to Catalog movies for disc-to-digtal conversion of movies for the Kaleidescape Store.

Internal storage capacity each of 6TB each will store 150 Blu-Ray quality movies, 900 DVD quality movies or 9000 CDs (or some combination). Up to two Cinema Ones can be linked to increase the total storage. This unit has not been opted-in to Disney, so you can still import your Disney DVDs or Blu-Ray discs.

The disc-reader / drive reads both DVD and Blu-Ray discs properly as the original drive has been swapped-out for a low-use replacement unit from a defective Alto. Since Altos can't import movies (they only read the header of a disc to catalog it), it's has a nearly-new disc-reader. Along with the Grandfathered-import rights, you can import your DVDs, or catalog movies for disc-to-digital conversion of movies for purchase / download from the Kaleidescape Store.

This unit was refurbished, meaning opened-up, had all dust removed, all connections and functions checked, and was fitted with the nearly-new disc-reader from an Alto as noted above. As the 6TB units were the last of the Cinema Ones made, and this unit has a nearly-new disc-reader, it's the closest thing to a new unit that you can find now. I purchased this unit new from a dealer and traded-in a server to transfer its grandfathered-status to this unit, which makes it even more rare. It's performed flawlessly since new, but is out of warranty now, and is sold as-is, but it is fully tested and confirmed as working.

Asking $1,300 USD. I will cover Ground shipping and insurance to the lower 48. Payment via PayPal F&F, or please cover the 3% fee.
