Quick Question on multiple formats

Hi All,

I noticed on my 4K system (Terra etc.) that i can have multiple versions of the same film when I upgrade the format. Is there anyway to delete the lower quality format to free up space?

Chris

Yes. You can do it either via the Onscreen Display (OSD) or the browser interface (BI).

Via the OSD:
1. Select the title you wish to remove a version of.
2. Open the detail sheet.
3. Scroll down to the "Other Versions" menu item.
4. On the fly out menu select the version that you wish to delete. This will load another detail sheet.
5. Scroll down to the "More Options" menu item on the new detail sheet.
6. Select "Delete XXX version" to delete that version.
NOTE: If you are on a display device that isn't capable of playing 4K HDR content, the HDR versions of content will be hidden and thus you won't be able to delete it via the OSD. In that case, you would have to use the BI method listed below if you wanted to delete HDR content.

Via the BI:
1. Open the BI for your system to the Movies page (http://server ip/movies)
2. Click the check box next to the title that you wish to delete a version of.
3. At the bottom of the page, click the "Select versions to delete..." button.
4. In the popup, ensure that the version(s) you wish to delete are selected and click the "OK" button.

Also, with the BI you can see which movies have multiple versions (arrow that can be clicked on to expand and see all the versions).
