Questions on a 3U server and hard drive order/sequence

Hey guys. I am just about to get my hands on a used 3U server with 6 drives. From the ad I saw, it looks like the original drives were removed from the main unit set aside and I am uncertain if they need to be re-introduced into the 3U in a specific order in order to boot. Is there a way to find out what the order of the drives need to be? Also, is it possible to boot the 3U without any drives present?

You need drives to boot the Server. The drives can be installed in any order, it does not matter what the original order was, but be sure all the original working drives are reinstalled or the server will think a drive (or drives) has failed.
