  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

    All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
    However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

    Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

Qty 14 1TB drives coming available in approx 2 weeks. These are coming out of a 3U chassis and will also fit into a 1U chassis (1U chassis total disc capacity = 4, 3U = 14). Under original warranty thru May 2011. Because of that, additional warranty extension is available, as is reinitialization service.

Offered as:
1. Bootable set of 14: Insert all 14 into any 3U server. No need for reinitialization by K. You're good to go. Content not included other than preloaded K content.
2. Reinitialized-to-order into whatever you want, e.g. bootable 1U or 3U sets of lesser than quantity 14, or individual reinitialized extra discs.

Please order now, as I'd like to do one (1) reinitialization order with K rather than several.

Price: Asking $6300 as a bootable set of 14, U.S. shipping included. Non-U.S. shipping extra as required -OR- Asking $525 per reinitialized disc + shipping.

Questions welcome.
 
For clarification, no need to pay until I am ready to ship drives. Just looking for buying commitments at this time. Also, these are enduser owned drives.
 
Update... began a replication today. All 1TB Discs will be available in 10 days, or I guess that now means right after Thanksgiving, and under original warranty.
 
Replication is complete. Drives are now available. All 14 as is in a bootable set. OR will reinitialize to order for you. Again, asking $6300 as a bootable set of 14, U.S. shipping included -OR- $525 per reinitialized disc, U.S. shipping included. Non-U.S. shipping extra as required.

UNDER ORIGINAL WARRANTY THRU MAY 2011. Extended warranty available.

Option 1: All 14 discs as is in bootable set, $6,300,

Option 2: Reinitialized as spares (additional storage for existing 1Us and 3Us), $525/disc,

Yes, these are coming out of a 3U because the owner wants to move to all 2TB disks.

These 1TB drives have been reinitialized by Kaleidescape and fit into any 1U or 3U chassis as additional storage for your system.

Hi all, just wanted to update... I now have reinitialized discs back from K, on hand and ready to ship. Only 4 left at this moment. Any takers??
