Good morning,

I have a 3U server that turned off and I cant get it to turn back on. I have tried disconnecting the power, holding down the on button, still nothing.

Any suggestions or advise on what it could be?

Thank you
Michael

If the power to the 3U is good, then sounds like the internal power supply failed. Last time I checked K did not have any in stock, and there was no plan to add any to inventory. You'll likely have to either locate a replacement online, or acquire a working 3U chassis. Assuming it's the power supply. Send an email to K Support (support@kaleidescape.com), provide the serial number and symptoms, they can better advise on the condition based on what they see in the logs the last time it was online.

There are a couple of threads in the forum that discuss 3rd party PSU replacements, but need to search.

Jim

The power button on the 3U is a software on/off button…. meaning that you won’t necessarily notice a tactile on/off feeling. Best to confirm this is working correctly.
