Dr. Strange availability

I received the email today about pre ordering Dr Strange. We were going to go to the theater in about 2 weeks or so when my son came back from college.

Does anyone have an idea when this title may be available in the store as we would much rather watch it at home on K than go to the theater, but I won't be able to delay the gang for long.

I'd be surprised if we can get it much earlier than the standard blu-ray or streaming release. Sometimes iTunes might get it sooner. I think in all likelihood you'll need to see it in the theater.

It is a typical pre-order, but the Studio has not assigned an expected release date AFAIK. I would think it wouldn't be available for at least a month or so after leaving the theaters.

Looks like "Deepwater Horizon" has slipped - changed from 20/12 to "Release date to be announced.

EDIT -spoke to soon. Just landed
