Pre-order section in K store?

It would be nice if the K store had a pre-order section.
With fragmented studio support, it would be nice to know in advance the titles that would be available in the store a few months in advance
 
They could then potentially 'pre-download' as well. If you pre-order it then the download could potentially begin when the item is ready on the back-end, and just magically appear as playable on the system when the title is truly available for purchase.

The item could even appear 'greyed out' in the list - like catalogued Blu-ray discs.
 
As long as one were going for that, why not just allow somebody to pre-select content to be shipped on their new server? That way, it could download direct from the Kaleidescape factory. It might delay their order shipment a few days, but would be faster than downloading locally for a lot of users and certainly not cause issues with their data caps.
 
Oh, I like that idea of pre-ordering content on a new server or player with storage.

Actually all of these. As an example, we know Fox will have however many movies on the Store eventually, but they have to add them all. So at the very least, we could get a "pre-download" or "pre-order" for titles that K already has been given access to, but haven't had time to load yet.
 
I love this idea. I kind of hate having to check the store a couple times a week to see if a new release was added or not. knowing ahead of time that a movie I know I will want to own will be in the store would make things a bit easier.
 
This is already being worked on, K has always agreed that it would be nice to publish notice of upcoming releases, and they plan to do that at some future point.
