Parts for 1U server

Are repair parts commonly available? Also, have there been any evolutionary changes to 1U servers? I note that they have been around for several years, so I would assume that with larger drivers, processors must be getting updated, or the tech is getting a little long in the tooth?

If one was to have obtained a 1U with performance issues, what am I looking at in terms of costs to get the old girl back and running.

Sent you an email, but still interested in some broader discussion. Are all the processors of 1u units all the same? Not sure how long the 1u has been out, but processor capacity has not stopped progressing. I cannot imagine 4k or higher resolution videos will be any easier to distribute, especially multi stream. Do 3u units use the same size processor?

Would also like to know if I can source parts such as power supplies, etc. I thought K sold maintenance or kits for these things.

Just trying to expand my knowledge of the hardware.

Unless I misunderstand your question, the processing you are speaking of which relates to high resolution playback doesn't happen in the server. The server just streams digital ones and zeroes to the players to be decoded. The ports on all the newer servers, from the KSERVER-2500 5U all the way to the 1U and 3U modern units, are all Gigabit, and shouldn't have any problems whatever in streaming data for 1080p or 4K or probably even 8K video bandwidth, which is really all they have to do.
