Paramount have added new disc to digital titles

I did not notice this earlier, but it seems like Paramount have added disc to digital upgrades for a bunch of titles in their catalogue. I had a number on my wish list but it was too expensive to upgrade at full price for titles I already owned. Now they are definitely worth it to upgrade older DVD versions and free up space in my vault for Blu-ray versions.

Well done Kaleidescape and Paramount!

Wayne

This is bigger than Disc to Digital. They have a whole slew of movies that were never UV that are now UV. My "wish list" diminished pretty quick. This is a great opportunity to buy some Kaliedscape movies that will still be able to be streamed

Thanks for the heads-up Wayne!

I have a bunch of new titles in my Digital Offers folder.

And many more(redeemed from the codes included in BDs) showed up in My Movies. I filtered by “not downloaded to my system” and there were quite a few available to download.

Also my library in VUDU has grown as many Paramount movies bought from the K store i.e. “Star Trek” are now showing up there.

Who hoo, Mission Impossible Fallout finally got its UV marker too as part of this :)

The 3 latest Star Trek (reboot with Chris Pine) movies show up on UV/Vudu but only in HD even though I had purchased them in 4k, and on Kaleidescape the upgrade is the same as the purchase price. YUCKS!

At least the studios are starting to get better about labeling it as Digital-HD on the disc packaging, so we can set our expectations appropriately.
