Just learned of a change to ordering drives with a new file system installed.

If you are ordering new drives from K to replace a complete drive set in a 1U or 3U Server, those new drives will need a "File System" installed by K prior to shipping. In the past, dealers were able to order as few as 2 drives for a 1U, and 3 drives for a 3U (as a reminder, KRAID and Hot Spare factor into the 3U). The new change requires a minimum purchase of 4 drives if a File System is being ordered with the drives (you can still order non-file system drives in any number), and currently only 6TB drives are available. Plan accordingly.
