• Thanks for visiting the Kaleidescape Owners' Forum

This forum is for the community of Kaleidescape owners, and others interested in learning about the system, equipment, services, and the company itself.

It is run by a group of enthusiastic Kaleidescape owners and dealers purely as a service to this community.

This board is not affiliated in any way with Kaleidescape, Inc.
For official technical support, product information, or customer service, please visit www.kaleidescape.com

The forum is free to use and most of the forum can be used by guests who are not registered....

... but we strongly encourage you to register for a full account. There is no cost to register for a full account.

Benefits of registering for a full account:

    • Participate in the discussions! You must have a registered account to make posts on the forums. You will be able to start your own thread on a topic or question, or you can reply to other threads/discussions.
    • Use the "Conversation" feature (known as "private messaging" on other forums) to communicate directly with any of the other users here.
    • Access the Files area. The "resources" area of the forum contains many "Favorite Scene" and Script files that can dramatically increase the enjoyment of your Kaleidescape system. Go directly to great scenes in your favorite movies, created by other owners, and add automation to playback of your system with Scripts.
    • You won't see this annoying notice at the top of every screen!😊

It's easy and free to register for the forum. Just click the "Register" button in the upper right corner of this page, and follow the instructions there.

This box goes away for registered users.
  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Non-Kaleidescape Gear Marketplace"? 🤔

To sell gear on the forum, you need to have a current "premium" (paid) membership on the forum.

The Kaleidescape Owners Forum doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. The fees for these premium memberships for people who sell gear here is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

To summarize the tiers of membership:

    • Registered (free) members can participate in any discussions anywhere on the forum, message other users, download favorite-scene files and script files, and reply to any marketplace listings.
    • "Supporter"-tier members (as little as $15 for 30 days) can also make listings in the Kaleidescape (ONLY) gear Marketplace in order to try to sell Kaleidescape gear.
(Supporters can NOT make listings on the Non-Kaleidescape Forum)
    • "Premium" and "Patron"-tier members, (starting at $50 for 6 months) in addition to many other benefits, can make listings to either of the marketplace sections here in this forum section.

For more information on the benefits of a paid members, or to purchase a Supporter, Premium or Patron membership, please see the Account Upgrades section of your user profile.

I know there are fellow Dolby Atmos aficionados in this group, but what if I told you that the most convincing manifestation of proximity effects is found neither in movies nor in live concerts, but in Dolby Atmos Music?

And what if I told you that I have spent over $50,000 across the years vetting SACD multichannel, DVD-Audio, Blu-ray Audio, Quadio, and Dolby Atmos Music releases in search of the most immersive recordings ever produced?

Those familiar with my Hero Award Atmos-centric scripts know that my standards are extremely demanding. As a result, I have assembled what I consider the crème de la crème of immersive music releases.

I am now offering the collection at a loss.

The entire collection is available for $4,300.

Frankly, someone could purchase this collection, break it up, and likely realize well over $13,000 in batch sales. For the serious collector of immersive music and boutique 4K physical media not available in the store, this represents an opportunity that is unlikely to come around again.

To sweeten the deal, I have also included a substantial number of 4K UHD titles that are not available on Kaleidescape — literally true unobtanium.

For good measure, I have added a large selection of film noir titles that are likewise absent from the store.

Also included are pure 4K eye-candy background video titles, shot with Sony’s best cameras, featuring Japanese chill instrumentals and New Age music from Vicom. https://www.suruga-ya.jp/search?category=312&search_word=&brand=ビコム THEY ARE AVERAGE 100 APOP DELIVERED so $1,500 i paid but it is sublime quality.

Finally, I am adding all the HD movie classics missing from the Kaleidescape store.

I will continue posting covers.

Tada!

Oh man, that's an amazing musical lineup collection curated by the script-master himself. Hope all is well there with you looking to move so many awesome demo pieces.

And I h ave a lot more blu ray music and atmos discs than you do - all ripped and some downloaded from Immersive Audio Album - stuff not on the Kaleidescape store - watch using my Dune player.
