New KEAOS 3.6

The new KEAOS v3.6 is now available and is being released over the next month or so. Some new features:

Support for the new 1080p Movie Players.

Module support for the Philips Pronto TSU9600 (and 9400)

Advanced DVD and CD playback features. (MP2's and the new players) (Essentially you can treat a DVD/CD in the tray as you would an imported DVD/CD. i.e. you can now see movie details, cover art, and even bypass warnings, trailers and start a movie by selecting "play movie" in the OSD. Works with rented/borrowed movies as well.

Disable the import ability on specific Movie Players. (This feature assists in preventing inadvertent importing, for example in a child's room.)

K also went back to the "Yellow" outline when selecting on the OSD (vs the Blue outline introduced last year.) (This was requested by users.)

I never saw the yellow, but I never had an issue with the blue. I kinda like it. Can you opt NOT to take an updated?

Sorry my friend, no can do.:( (Not saying an option couldn't be included to provide a choice, but that currently does not exist.)

Is there any way to know when my server will update its software?

Or a way to force the server to check for updates?...

I'm sorry but there is not. Systems will automatically receive the update over the next month. There is no method available to you that can force the server to update.

The updates are already being installed (my system has already updated) and K is usually conservative on the update timeframe. If this update is as fast as past updates, most people should see the new KEAOS over the next couple of weeks.
