Yesterday, K modified the configuartion and pricing on some components.

First, you can no longer purchase an empty 3U. The options are:

KSERVER-5000-0600, includes 14 2TB Disks, MSRP $26,995
KSERVER-5000-0300, includes 8 2TB Disks, MSRP $20,995

The cost of 2TB Disks dropped slightly, as did the 1TB disks for a Cinema One. Please check with your dealer for actual pricing.

As already reported elsewhere in the forum, the Cinema One comes in two versions, the original and a new HC (higher capacity) because of the 1TB drives.

There are a couple of small price changes (lower) on replacement components as well (for out-of-warranty replacements).

Someone just asked, so to clarify, if you had a 3U order pending before these changes I'm sure K will honor that configuration. These new changes (including pricing) took affect yesterday. If any doubt, check with your dealer.
