  • 🔷Why can't I make a new post here in "The Marketplace"? 🤔

    All registered users can reply to other members' posts here in the Marketplace, to respond as potential buyer or ask questions of the seller.
    However, only members who have paid to become "Premium" members or "Patrons" can make a new "for sale" post here in Marketplace.

    Premium memberships can be purchased for as little as $10... a very reasonable fee in order to sell equipment here, far lower than the seller's fee would be on eBay or Audiogon or other sites. Our site doesn't sell ads or sell user's information. This small fee is the only source of funds for the site to offset the costs it takes to run the forum.

This was posted originally in the Kaleidescape users group on Facebook, and decided to post here too. A month ago I had a customer buy a Kscape with a 6TB drive, after receiving it (and prior to opening) he decided he needed a 22TB drive, which he purchased. Now during this time frame, I as a new dealer, got one of the last dealer Strato S devices and received both boxes at the same time. Not realizing it at the time, both the 6TB Terra and the Strato S come in the same box, and I accidently opened the box, thinking it was the Strato. The Terra has not been turned on or used, but because I opened the box, Kaleidescape will not accept it back. So, I am selling it for $4500, an almost $500 discount. The price also includes shipping to anywhere in the US.
 
Based on a confirmation from K, and the circumstances involved, the Seller is permitted to list this item below retail.

(Only posting this because other dealers have always been notified that any advertised price of new products must be at msrp, and that is still the case.)
